Here's How to Become A Valued Seller at Grow With Me
We want to make you an offer for all of your children’s gently loved
items, but we are selective about what we can accept due to our customers'
expectations. To get the most return on your merchandise, please read our
helpful selling tips. We make every effort to present both affordable prices
to our buyers and attractive offers to our sellers.
When to Bring Your Stuff and How Much Stuff to Bring
You
may bring in your items to sell Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Because
we process so many sellers’ goods each day, there is a 2-bag/small
box limit per day if you would like to stay in the store while we process
your items. For larger amounts, please call ahead of time and we will schedule
an appointment for you. Sellers may also take advantage of our convenient
Drop & Run system. Bring in your stuff anytime and we will give you
a call when we have finished processing your things.
Your Options in Selling
At
Grow With Me you have 3 options in selling. You may:
- Sell your stuff outright for cash.
-Earn 30% more in store credit than the cash you would
receive for selling outright.
-Leave your items for consignment and receive 40%-50% of the selling price.
You may also donate all your items. Donated items will be place in our Autism
Consignment Account. The usable donated items will be sold on consignment
with 50% of the proceeds donated to such organizations as The Ann Arbor
Autism Foundation and The Autism Society of Washtenaw County.”
“No Thank You” Items
We
can either return “no thank you” items to you or place them
in our Autism Consignment Account. 50% of the proceeds from that account
will be given to the such organizations as the Ann Arbor Autism Foundation
and The Autism Society of Washtenaw County to help families of children
affected by autism. These items will often be placed on our clearance racks.
Any “no thank you” items left for more than 3 business days
will be automatically placed in our Autism Consignment Account.
Selling To Us
Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories
1.
If selling outright, we consider clothing from any season. If consigning,
clothing must be in season; please check dates below.
2. Carefully inspect all clothing prior to your appointment.
Accepted items are free of stains, tears, missing snaps or buttons, broken
zippers, or excessive wear, and are no more than 3 years old.
3. Freshly launder all items. They should be free of odors and pet hair.
4. Check labels to be sure that the size and manufacturer's information
is attached.
5. Please zip all zippers, snap all snaps, and button all buttons.
6. Place children's clothing (newborn through size 14) in a paper bag, box,
or bin with your name & phone # on each container. NO PLASTIC BAGS PLEASE.
7. Shoes & Accessories should be in "like new" condition.
8. When selling clothing to us, please keep in mind some of our favorite brands include Abercrombie, American Girl, Amy Byer, Carters, CachCach, Columbia, Gap, Gymboree, Hanna Andersson, Janie and Jack, Justice, Land’s End, Laura Ashley, L.L. Bean, Limited Too, Mini Boden, Oilily, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, The Children’s Place, Zutano and many others.
9. Please keep in mind that due to limited demand we
can not generally accept brands sold in discount retail stores. This includes
such brands as Athletic Works, Basic Editions, Circo, McBaby/McKids, Route
66, TKS, Wonderkids, Xhilaration and some others.

SWIMWEAR, JEANS AND COSTUMES ARE IN-SEASON ALL YEAR!
..Books/Toys/Entertainment
1.
Books are accepted in good condition with no torn pages or writing/drawing.
2. Toys must be clean, safe, in working condition, and have all pieces and
parts; instructions are useful.
3. Puzzles and games in excellent condition only.
4. Music (CD only) and movies (DVD only) are accepted in original case and
without scratches.
..Equipment & Gear
1.
Please clean all items and include all necessary parts, hardware, and instructions.
2. Equipment should be no more than 5 years old.
3. All items must be in good working condition.
We do not accept:
Stuffed
animals, cloth toys, small toys (i.e. Happy Meal, party favors), car seats,
used potty seats, breast pumps, used bedding, or recalled items
